 I think it was about 3 or 4am when I took these photos above. The waves were great that night. I have seen the waters now even though usa waters it was still heavy to me.

June 19th 2006 The Day!

 OMG yes shocking eh. It is the one known for years as Martini that is standing beside Leigh. The justice of the peace was in Denton County (Texas) Ron Marchant.

The above photo Martini took by setting the cam on auto timer. It was taken at a rest stop on the way to Galveston for our Honeymoon.

Of course I had to get some photos of seagulls and photos of the ocean in Galveston.

The above photo shows boats in the distance. We were on Galveston Island so the end of the road was not far from there. It seems part of Galveston, Texas is an island and has places where the road ends and the water takes over. It was so beautiful. The ocean is the most beautiful place I have seen in my life. I hope to make it back to waters.

If you look close at the boat photos above you will see that there was a seagull watching me take photos there. Grin. I never knew that Texas had any beauty in it until I saw the ocean.

The above photo shows my sweet husband showing concern for me going too close to the ocean on rocks that had a sign that said, "Warning Structure is not designed for public access."

He had some photos of me in the water where the sign did read, "No Swimming." :) I guess you can look to the bottom of the page to see why he was concerned. grin.

Like the rings my husband was made in Sweden. Did you think I would marry and american?  No way it took not only one from a special place to win me over but one so special . As I always said I want a defender of  PEACE. I got even more than a defender of peaceful people. I am so proud of him in all that he does. I have all I ever wished for and more. One day I shall write a Fairy Tale but, until then I shall just enjoy living it.

 I took my camera and not one time did the one known as Martini or I think how we would do pics ourselves. grin. I think we were both more than just nervous. The sweet lady Sheri Groves the chief clerk there saw I had a camera and asked if we wanted her to take pics. She did so good and caught moments. I could not have done as well myself. To me marriage is something you only do one time so I am so glad that we did it there. Yes I am glad it was done in Texas because they made it so special.

Yes I was watching him to make sure he did not run when he was asked to say things. grin. Funny he thought I was the one with cold feet but, I think mine were sweating by then. grin. 

You have no idea how romantic the words and feelings can be of this. Wow, what did we wait so long for eh. OMG and when he spoke to me and repeated words it was so heavy. I am the american and I chocked in words or felt as I sounded bad in speaking. For all my years I will never forget how he sounded and felt in the hands that day.

Yes I look so silly here and nervous. I think I realized then there is no exit and he had my keys grin. Wink. Really there is no words in any language that can explain this feeling. It was something so heavy that even from love or peace is no words.

By the way we did pick flowers the day before and did it together so it would mean something but, (Shh. Grin We forgot them at home. grin) (Yes I stole one off a bush on the way there. Wink. Don't tell in texas they shoot you for less wink.) I am just glad none of those huge orange wasps were on it eh. wink again.

We had a room with an ocean view as you maybe can tell from my dear wife's staring. There were seagulls outside too. You could nearly think she has never seen the ocean before. Ops she had not until then.

Leigh said that she just wanted to feel the water with her feet for the first time.

Just her feet ha.

Just look at the smile.

Thanks to Robin our UK friend we could afford to eat our wedding dinner at Joes Crab Shack.

June 19th of 2006 Wedding photos of Leigh Girl and Martini getting Married were brought to you by us. Martini took the photograph above just before I walked down on the rocks and just after I tossed my message and magazine sample in the water. Of course we have many more wedding and honeymoon photos but, for now this is what you get to see. He has one that he took of me swimming in the ocean with a sign very near that says No Swimming in that area. I guess with my late night adventures of the ocean calling me and me being the run away bride to the water at night and the fact that I did not see signs or anything but him and the water it is shocking he made it back with no nervous break down.  Grin. I guess he thought I would run away before the wedding. Grin. As you can imagine when he woke he knew right where to find me. :) Next time we will be there doing the late night wave photos together for sure. Martini also took the photo below just before I hit the water. Notice the sign behind me? I sure did not notice it. grin.

September 13, 2008 update on Galveston beach and Hurricane Ike hitting the beautiful Galveston Island

Galveston Texas Webcams. Seawall Webcam. Live Galveston Webcams & World Cams. I added this link on this site on September 13, 2008 as I have been up most of the night since September 12, 2008 sadly watching my own live webcams site to watch Hurricane Ike Hit Galveston Texas. Since our Honey Moon and moments there were so special and Galveston Beach and Seawall were so beautiful it was very sad to see the waves crashing in on Galveston Island. I watched several Houston Texas and Galveston Texas cams but only found on that I kept 247 on the site as I changed others as they would go down. I watched the eye Hurricane Ike hit the Island and saw the damage before and after the eye of the storm. I must say that tomorrows paint or shall we say now today's since it is early am here now... May be a bit late for September 13, 2008 live webcam paint shows and all.
