As far as my research and knowledge as led me I have found that It is not a copyright violation to do paintings of cartoon characters, movie stars, famous actors and even made up movie characters like ET as long as you are not selling the paintings or putting the paintings on shirts and other things you sell. I do the face painting and body paintings for free and fun stuff to show the world. E.T. the movies one by Stephen Spielberg which came out around 1982. I got to watch the movie E.T. at the movies with my family at the time. Ops, Age is showing grin.

    Most photos and videos on this site show art & face painting and body paintings that I make up out of my imagination. The few exceptions to the rule would be The Simpsons with Bart Simpson and Homer Simpson as painted hands & ET as in ET The Movie Character from the show. The Planet Of The Apes pages have the movie Planet Of The Apes on sale & tells a bit about the show but, the funny ape face paintings are made up out of my mind and not really Planet Of The Apes. E.T. the movie was an amazing movie at the time and still to this day a must see movie about an alien that got stranded on earth and had to deal with probably the real things that would happen to lost aliens. Sadly the human race is not very humane but, maybe one day eh.
