The train painting below is like a
painting of an old fashion steam engine train or steam train
if you wish to name the painting that. That was a simple
more 2D painting or 2D art if you can really call it art.
The photo above with the train painting that leads to my
main page is more of a 3d or 3 dimensional painting if I
were to add just a few things to touch it up. The painting
below needs work but was fast and simple to show a train for
a party while the other side of this painting sadly was not
ever seen. My site was hit and lost all but what I had saved
on pages so had to let it all go and redo it all the best I
could grin.

The first
2D or 2 Dimensions of Art is Length and Height. To add Depth
to paintings would make them then from flat to 3D or 3
Dimensional to give the illusion that parts of the painting
are coming out or sticking out and such.
In doing face and bodypaint in around
2000 to 2002 lots of my bodypaint and body painting was in
uv or blacklight. The blacklight paintings alot of the times
were easy to do in 3d for 3D bodypaint. some photos and
videos of some of my 3D bodypaint may still be out there if

To show
the a FAQ or question about art asked on my FAQ page I put
together my train paintings. Paintings of trains. One of the
train paintings was to show a birthday theme for a Thomas
The Train Party. The train paintings here show an example of
art Dimensions or what the dimensions of art are. For
example if you paint just a square or box like a simple box
car or train box car you have what appears to be a flat
painting or 2D artwork. 2D art stands for 2 Dimensional Art.
to change it to 3 Dimensional art or 3D artwork you would
make the painting seem to have not just width and length but
also depth. Painting to show Height and painting to show
width is easy paintings compared to trying to show actual
depth in paintings. To paint and show depth you can do that
in many ways. With adding some lines and shapes to size as
well as maybe even color changes or putting bright colors in
front in ways helps too. To make a realistic looking
painting or paint realistic looking depth and dimensions to
artwork you just have to paint and practice. It is not so
hard to add some corners and lines to make things appear 3
Dimensional in paintings.
